Transfiguration of Our Lord
Philadelphia, Pa

This breathtakingly beautiful cathedral was built in 1906 and abandoned in 2001. It is located in the midst of a Philadelphia neighborhood that has long been on the decline. Consisting of two separate churches located on different floors, the top level holds the main hall that is adorned with elaborate biblical mosaics and a high vaulted ceiling.
